If you have been interested in attending a CT Certification Training for administrative users but have concerns about the travel requirements, we believe we have a solution for you. Curriculum Trak will begin hosting CT Certification in an online format. These online conferences will be the equivalent of our onsite training opportunities – covering the same material over the same amount of time – without the travel and lodging requirements.
Before humanity had a crash course in web-conferencing due to recent stay-at-home orders, we were hesitant to offer a remote option for this training. But while some of the prevailing struggles with technology and varied levels of comfort in a web-conferencing setting may have been worked out, remote meetings still lose some of the camaraderie and connections face to face meetings provide. But we believe our recent stay-at-home posture necessitates this approach and paves the way for people, especially educators, to become better equipped for this type of training. So, we have decided to capitalize on that for the benefit of the Curriculum Trak network of schools.
We are also committed to take additional steps to provide as successful a learning experience as possible. To that end, we will be capping attendees at our online learning sessions to what we believe will be the most manageable number. We will also be providing training materials and recommendations in advance of the training. In addition, to more fully foster small-group discussion and networking, a major component of this training, not only will we be capping the total number of registrants, but we will also be relying on our current group of CT Certified users to help host breakout sessions and support opportunities throughout the training days. We realize that remote conferencing and training is not always a good solution for everyone. So, we will still offer on-site training as well.
